This project was produced during 2000, launched in 2001 and hosted by New Media Scotland until 2008, when the organisation had to make changes.

The original introduction read as follows:

 

New Media Scotland presents Life Measure Constructions, an internet work by Jorn Ebner. The artist invites the viewer to create their own worlds on the web. An interactive electronic drawing, Life Measure Constructions allows us to free our imaginations and make decisions as to how the online environment will develop.

Jorn Ebner's work is concerned with situations such as migration, settling down, creating environments. In his online works, performances and drawings, he uses objects as playful tools to create visual narratives.

Processor speed - tested only on Windows PC and Macintosh, for these platforms, minimum 200Mhz, 300Mhz preferred
Connection speed - minimum 33.6k bps, 56k bps preferred
Browser - according to Macromedia, Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer are preferable
